Default Tyneside Scottish 1914 Officers' Cap Badge

Anyone have any thoughts on this Silver TS officers badge? To my rather inexpert eye it looks OK . . . dunno. And is the asking price reasonable? . . . Seems a bit on the high side.

Thanks - Lawrence

Thanks, Jean-Marie. Similar to your badge . . . but . . . GBP900. Bit pricey!

The photographs do seem rather blurred.

The original pictures were woeful, Frank. I asked the seller for clearer images and he was kind enough to add two better ones (front and back) To be fair, the seller has a number of items listed and all the pictures are pretty poor quality, even those of his low cost items - I don't think it's done on purpose - he's just not very good at taking pictures, maybe.

Having seen Jean-Marie's badge I'm sure the seller's badge is kosher . . . but GBP 900 . . . WOW!!!

Regards - Lawrence

It is a lot of money, but, then the 1914 officers badges are certainly quite scarce, I just think the images are rather odd, when I looked half an hour ago, I could not even clearly see the hallmarks.

Just looking at it again, the marks appear to be Bent and Parker sixth cycle Birmingham for 1915-16, the date letter being "q" rather than "p" which would be 1914-15.
