help needed with Foreign Medal (Possibly German or Polish)
Hi,
I am trying to help a friend from Poland who has found this medal when researching his family history. We have both looked through Google but came up with nothing that matches it. Has anyone any idea of what it was for or who would have been given this? I don't think he actually has the medal, only the picture. Thanks in advance, Bill

Medal
The six pointed star on the suspender looks like the star of David, any ideas.

Hi Rob,
I did think that too. It translates to: For faithful service, to the Eldest Jew, 28.IV.1940, 28.X, Litzmann City Ghetto House Guard 4100. Could it possibly be Jewish working with the Germans? Bill
