Les coiffures du soldat canadien
The latest issue of Militaria (no 383 Aug 17) has a copiously illustrated five page article on Canadian Army headdress (SD caps, FS caps, CWAC caps) 1939-1945. Naturally it's in French, have been translated from Ed Storey's English language text. Mike

Mike, glad to hear that you buy the magazine. Keep an eye out in future issues for the other parts in the Headdress series.

With a French co-author I have been writing for Militaria on aspects of the British Army in the Second World War for about 15 years - so I occasionally try and encourage Forum members to subscribe - and thus help keep the publication alive. Mike

Militaria
I should have checked the contributors list in the magazine before I fired off my first message to connected the dots that I have been following your articles for years! Militaria is a great magazine that deserves a greater following. I was just in the editorial office last month in Paris to meet up with Philippe as we had not seen each other in person since Dieppe back in 1992.

As an occasional contributor can I also encourage members to take a look at this splendid magazine. It's worth subscribing for the photos alone.
