Would this date from late '40s ? I assume it is genuine? Many thanks. charlie

Looks okay. The force finished in 1948.

Seeing who posted it I'm fairly certain it is from 'The Formation Sign', the journal of the Miltary Heraldry Society.

Not The Formation Sign but definitely Crown Imperial.

Sadly the author Jim MacDonald died earlier this year.
