Default Makers "Bagged" Mottoes thread.

Hi All

If you have a modern Motto that is still in its bag or its bag is with it still .......could you post an image of it here. Some makers might not have the NSN or any information on the bag ..... but please post it anyway {IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AA EITHER}

First example with bag info on it :-

A/A Other Ranks - MOD Issue
Makers Mark : FIRMIN (Fat Firmin mark)
Regiment : Queen's Royal Lancers

FIRMIN & SONS LTD
NSN: 8455-99-973-9382

CONT NO: 54039
PATT NO: 18552
DATE: 05/08/08

Thats great Tim Still the same Pattern Number 18552 (see below)... thats good to see.

Also Product code = 32QROLAN-CAP-VH-AA1-455

If the thread progresses we should be able to go back in time and document the "back" changes in the AA motto. The Motto in that bag is identical to the 2008 bagged motto I have. Hopefully someone will have the "Old" Firmin AA Motto bagged and we will be able to see its pattern number.

Thanks Bess.... its the bagged ones that I am after

* I note an interesting LB&BCoLtd that I dont have though.

I am hoping that some early bags will turn up 60s 70s 80s 90s so we can see the slider marks and back images. I am not sure if all the makers "bagged" them up like Firmin did?

Griff,
I picked up some new Firmin badges from a surplus store a couple of years ago (HAC and a couple of Corps from memory) and they were wrapped in thin white tissue paper sealed with clear tape. I'm sure you know what I mean.
