3rd VB Royal Highlanders so the Black Watch?

Interesting that even though they are in No1 Dress tunics they are dressed in slouch hats with the (red) hackle. First time I have seen that combination and especially for a Scots Regt.

Alan, yes the Dundee Highland lads, tartan trews, slouch hats fancy arm badges, music pouches. The Band Sgt wears the VLSGC medal.

The fancy arm badges are the original army band badges, and very nice too.

Ron, the guy in khaki, is he wearing wearing anything that is discernible as Black Watch? And are the slouch hats hackle only or any badges or buttons visible.

Bryan, cant see any insignia on the khaki man. The bandmaster is wearing a star badge on his glengarry, the bandsmen are wearing St. Andrew collar badges.
