RAMC green beret
I'd like to know if Medical troops attached to (Royal Marines) Commandos used to wear RAMC cap badges on their green berets during ww2.

Great answer by Tim - the answer is yes as illustrated.
It actually caused some confusion with other similar headdress badges worn in the ubiquitous Commando green beret I believe (according to the account of a veteran I spoke to many many years ago). Mike |

It's a 1944 dated Kangol green beret. And indeed in need one with lug!
