Default Recent RAF related wings and badges .

From a recent auction. these were framed under dirty glass with poor photos. Took a chance and was quite pleased when they arrived yesterday. No name associated with the group, unfortunately.. The SAAF wing is of pattern I had not seen before. Solid WW2 RAF wings. Belgium volunteer titles are nice also. All have indications of being worn and removed from a uniform at some time

Thanks
Jack

Hi Jack,

Don't you love it when taking a chance pays off..?

Well done, some nice looking pieces there (not that I'm any kind of expert you understand).

Cheerio,

Roy

The SA wings of this pattern do turn up from time to time but are definitely not all that common. Very nice.
Cheers,
Alex

Thank you Roy and Alex.

I am more familiar with the SAAF wing that is not padded and with a thinner embroidery style. Am pleased to add this to the collection.

Best
Jack
