Default Pre WW1 KOSB badge

Hello,

I received this badge by post today, on the pictures it looked OK but when I have the badge in my hand I am not so sure it is an original.

The thing that makes me suspicious about this badge is light weight, and the color, it looks like a brand new AA badge. Also the detail of the lion is not clear, it looks like it has been heavily polished, but it hasn't been.

It is already 3/4 on its way to the return envelope should it go all the way ?

Albert

I would go for one with a voided tail and a bit more age.

Thanks,

But am I right in thinking that that also there are original ones with a tail which is not voided and the not total voiding on the right hand side of the middle flag ?

Albert.

Thanks Andy,

But this version I already have, I am looking for one without the leaves beside the crown.

Albert.
