Default Royal Norfolk Regiment

Hello all,

I would like an opinion on the first badge before I add it to my album. Is it a good one or a copy / restrike? The second badge shows what I know to be a bad one for comparison.

Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy, The badge on the left is the most convincing of the two. The one on the right is of a type made to be sold at the Norfolk Regiment museum, I would keep away from this one. If you look carefully the head is too big for the body and the detail is very crude.

Happy hunting Dave Moore

Andy,
I agree 100% with David, 1st badge looks OK, the one on the right however is the "Crash Helmet" pattern and a common FAKE!

Many thanks for that, I just wasn't sure about the first one.
