Default ASC City of London shoulder title

Had this title a fair time and wondered if it was just a variant pattern.
Searched online, read through Westlake, old Crown Imperial articles and other references and all indicated T ASC London only.
Last night, after reading the "Badges of the Empire's Waggoners" 2014 publication, I discover that the City of London title was worn by the 2nd and 3rd Companies plus it shows a period photo to boot!
Always makes my day when I learn something new (often, in my case).
I have the utmost admiration for people that dedicate a lot of time and effort researching and publishing articles and books so that we can enjoy and benefit from.
PS: Collected the book at Stratford on Sunday from Paul (top bloke, real good to meet and very knowledgeable) on behalf of Dean (great guy, generous to a fault, lucky he doesn't know I've read his book as I won't tell him.....).
Thought I would share this and hope it may be of interest to some.

All the best

Pat

Nice title Pat,

My wife's great grandfather served with the ASC in Salonika and I am keen to understand more about their badges particularly titles.

When I next go the library I will try and get a hold of that book as it comes highly recommended!

Appreciate you picking it for me and Paul for buying it on my behalf.

I echo your comments about the people who take the time researching badges so we can all be enlightened, much to the spirit of our Forum.

Cheers Dean
