Default General Service Corps OSD

Hi Regis. My opinion for what it's worth. Looks ok to me but, I think, a collar badge, not cap. Best regards, Mike

Its a 'Royal Arms' badge of many uses!

"General Service Corps" cap or collar badge were generally Gliding Metal and badges were produced with both sliders or lugs for use with the side cap.

It could also be a Warrant Officer First Class Arm or Wrest Band badge!

"Officers List" cap badges were bronzed with blades for wear in the Khaki Service Cap as well as other headdress, and was a private purchase item.

It is most likely a Bronzed Officers Collar badge.

As for originality, looks OK.
