Nice example. I like the 15th Bn badges, but they must have been a pain to wear.

Very large badge, and not the lightest. On the glen, it would make one a bit top heavy.

The badge being worn...

Jo, I don't think the badge in question is the one Marshall is wearing. Reveiw the badges here http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/can...ce/cef_e15.htm.
The badge he wears is the one with no space between the belt and the scroll.

They are actually the same size as a regular 48th badge just a little scroll added to the bottom. In the hand they don't feel much heavier.but definitely larger than dome other regiments.

Nice picture. I think the badge in the picture is the same badge as my avitar. Not the 48th badge with the 15th scroll underneath.

Ron, have you seen any images of the badge with the separate scroll in wear?

Sorry Bill. Just to confirm do you mean the 15th battalion with the scroll attached under the badge or totally detached and a separate piece?

I am pretty sure i have seen the attched scroll in wear but can not say for sure off the top of my head. I have sen so many 48th pictures and focus more on wwii. Will keep an eye out now that you mentioned it.
