Just found this peculiar button while sorting militia buttons...

QVC made by E. Chanteloup of Montreal.

Anyone seen other instances? Or the related badge?

It looks like this "unit" was patroling the harbors and the St-Lawrence river in the province of Québec in the 1880s.
