Default Some for review

My concerns are 10,11,16 especially 16 seems to lack detail on back and has some sort of covering? I see these were copied a lot.

thanks

Hi Robbo,

Without sounding to much like a stuck record, could you post a close up of No. 16?

Have a look at the badges in this post

http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...7&postcount=20

Yours would appear to be one of these "fat cats".

Either way, a close up would confirm.

Andy

Regarding this fat cat badge. I see no sweat holes in it so ain't sure how this fits with those posted?? Its the glaring gap where scroll is attached that's confusing me.

The Ed V111 badge on back looks lacquered or sumit. It defo looks dodgy

Your Edward VIII RE badge should be die cast, gilt and on blades instead of loops. And of a finish and detail worthy of an officers badge. Almost all officers badges are converted from George V badges with the new cypher soldered in position.

Rgds, Thomas.

I always prefer the Leicester thin cat with an unpierced tail for this economy badge. There may have been more than one maker but this one is the type of personal preference.

Alan, it's not an economy issue badge, it has overlaid scrolls.
