Gurkha rifles epaulettes slip ons
Four epaulettes slip ons:the first one is badged to a lieutenant of the 3rd Gurkha Rifles, I guess 3rd or 4th Battalion, the second to a captain of the 5th Royal Gurkha Rifles, the third is badged to a lieutenant of the 6th Gurkha Rifles and the fourth to captain of the 10th Gurkha Rifles, these last twoo being pretty similar in construction.

I think the 3rd Gurkha Rifles may be post independence circa 1950's - the 5th if it's genuine must be 1940's . As for the 10th I suspect it's 1970's but quite crude for a British Gurkha Regiment, it's possible it's WW2 but different in design to the examples in the Museum's booklet on the insignia of the Regiment. The 6th may well be WW2 but again it could be post 1970's again a little crude for a British Gurkha Regiment - interesting lot though.
