Smile Great War cavalry set

Hi all,

We'll have added a numeral 1 to the 1st Life Guards shoulder title thanks to Tony. Have replaced the 7th Dragoon Guards cap badge with a genuine example with a fuller torse. Post-Stratford and help from Pat and Paul, super Forum members I hope to add a genuine RHG with a fully voided V not attached to the side of the letter and a numeral 2 above the 2nd Life Guards title. Then the hunt will be on for a genuine Inniskilling Dragoons cap badge.

Thanks to all for guidance.

Cheers Dean.

Hello Dean,

Nice collection, I appreciate you taking the time to show us. A lot of time and effort has gone into putting that display together, well done.

Smile One to go! Well hopefully

Hi all,

Thanks to Paul Spellman and Tony C. I have now added the 2 above the Life Guards shoulder title to match the 1 over the First Life Guards. A crimped slider GvR Royal Horse Guards replacing my lugged example. Just the Inniskilling Dragoons cap badge to replace with a better example with a slider. Will then move the first row of title down a bit, put them on a clean foam board and frame it up.

Enjoyed putting these together but if these are hard the yeomanry is testing me but thanks again to Paul and chief scout Pat Birley I am getting there, cheers Dean.

Superb collection, Dean, especially envious of the 5th and 21st Lancers; so hard to find undamaged.

Thanks Tony and in my experience putting a set together like this is actually harder than I had imagined. Some of the titles in particular are much harder to acquire than the badges by an order of magnitude, cheers Dean.

Now just this one to find:

No idea what the title should be to go with it.
