Hi, is the small badge a collar? and why the double prong fittings? thanks in advance, Mike

That is a nice set of officers' quality badges. The smaller badge is a collar, and the tangs (the nomenclature used by Canadian collectors for that type of fitting) were bent over to fix the badge to the collar.

I'm not sure the cap badge is an officers'. If it is, it looks like the gilt has been removed. Do you have an image of the reverse?

Hi Phillip, it is an other ranks cap badge, I've seen an officers badge for sale and it was silly money, so was happy to get O/R's cap badge and an officer's collar for reasonable money, thanks for replies. If you want an image I can do one later, best wishes Mike
