1st. Canadian Division Officers collar - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

Hi Gents,
Picked this up at the weekend. I'm hoping it's an Officers collar badge (33x 26mm) to the Ist Canadian Div 3rd Machine Gun Coy.
Previous owner may well have given it a bit of a polishing as any bronzing has been well rubbed off!

Probably an OR's collar, as my reference material states that the officer's cap and collars were browning copper with a white metal overlay.

As per Ian, this is the ORs collar. The officer's had an overlay. The ORs was white metal.

What I failed to say on my first post it's actually been polished down to brass
it is not white metal at all. Although the picture may appear otherwise.

Thks for the additional information. With it being polished to brass, it is still the ORs.
