Default White Metal Shoulder Titles for identification

Three white metal shoulder title for identification please. The VRC title is cast and slightly wedge shaped.

There are a number of similar titles to the Somerset one with the same style of letters, Bedford springs to mind, I do not think they are military.

I am sure they have been discussed before on the Forum, finding the old threads is the problem.

Default White metal shoulder titles

The RED CROSS wore this style of white metal shoulder title ,often with oval shaped brass backing plates with cut outs instead of slots in the plate.

No they didnt. All BRCS badges are gilding metal and much smaller lettering.

You may be confusing them with STA?

Thank you all for the comments so far. Looks like SOMERSET is part of a St John Ambulance title and PS may be South African Prison Service. Any ideas on what VRC stands for?

Yes i meant St Johns ambulance brigade.Got my medical services muddled!
