Default Israeli badge, can anyone read Hebrew?

I am not sure if this badge is military as it looks as if the man is wearing boxing gloves. It appears to have a Hebrew title at the bottom and I would appreciate it if anyone could translate it for me.

The badge appears to have some age and was purchased in an antique shop in Hampshire.

Default Hapoel Metallic Badge

Hello from Jerusalem

The hebrew word on this item is " Hapoel" which is one of the oldest sport organisation in Israel. Founded in 1926 with communist inspiration, this item shows the sickle and hammer and a boxer.

Many thanks for the identification. I can now see the sickle. I had originally thought the curve of the sickle blade represented the movement of the man's arm as if he was using a sling shot. I was clearly over thinking it as I assumed it represented David fighting Goliath. I couldn't work out why David was wearing boxing gloves.

Best wishes,

Simon.
