Great Photos, looking at the mixed uniforms most are circa April 1918 ..as RAF 1918 insignia is present with early rank bars to peaked cap. Some of the pilots retain the maternity tunic...nice pics of a lost generation .

So if the majority of the photos are from 40 Sq.
I googled 40 Sq and read that there was some Canadians in this Sq.
Would be super for me if the owner was a Canadian...possible as the books where found here in Canada.

Just wanted to add my thanks to you for sharing the photos in these unique albums. Fascinating stuff and a fine tribute to those brave souls who took to the skies in those flimsy machines without parachutes.
