Default Opinion on KDG cap badge please

Hi
I have been asked about this badge from a friend here in Greece. To me it's an obvious fake as the back is awful. But it's funny every time I come across a British badge here in Athens it has the same back, almost like a good badge has had its back filled in with some sort of alloy.

I'd be interested in your comments.
PS I don't have the badge, the photos have been sent to me.
Cheers
Sean

Sean,

certainly not an original badge.

appears to be a cast copy that from the front is intended to deceive, but as you saw, turn it around and you are left in no doubt.

I would suggest from Bulgaria as are a lot of fakes that come from your neighborhood.

regards

Many thanks Simon......loads of fake British stuff here, difficult to explain to Greek collectors though.
Cheers
Sean
