I didn't properly capture the detail,
I wondered if an approximate date was known?

Tweed,

Its an officers Pouch Belt Plate of the 27th West Yorkshire RVC in silver/silver plate.

Worn from their creation on 13.4.1860 throughout their amalgamation into the 1st Admin Bn. a month later and probably upto the creation of the 1st West Yorks Corps in 1880 when they became 'H' & 'J' Companies.

regards

Cheers Tony.
Nice to see the Pouch Badge also, shown here.

Note the similar and slightly unusual style of QVC on both.

regards

It belonged to a FANY , RAMC , QARANC nursing officer She it in a frame with a silver teaspoon collection and the badge was in the centre.
Kind regards Chay

A very nice badge. I find RVC badges fascinating in their variety.
