Default Polish badges

Has anybody come across this very large polish Air Force Badge. One dealer implied these were only made in France so we’re very early wartime. It has been well polished probably starting off silvered, and has had several solder repairs to the reverse so was much loved. Is it officers pre cloth bullion badge or other ranks? Any help gratefully accepted.
Regards Pete
