Question Am I missing something?

I cannot see quite what the buyer saw in this lot, has anyone got any ideas?

Rob,

Looks like that lot contains two KK675s (KRRC TEK - pattern 884D/1903)... one looped and a slightly scarcer slidered example.

Rob,

All relative I suppose.

KK675 badges command reasonably high prices. I can't speak for the other items in the lot, but I'm assuming the six bidders who participated in this auction spotted the scarce KRRC examples.

Ya, I've seen those KRRC badges retail from 130-150 quid each, so not a bad price really.

I think there were a few trial versions of the 26 Hussars, but this looks like it was cobbled together from bits of other badges.

Cool KRRC badges
I was not aware that KK675 badges went for that amount, so yes, not a bad buy. I do have one of these somewhere, but I cannot remember where I bought it, but it certainly did not pay £130 for it.

This is one badge whose price has risen quite dramatically in recent years. Any that appear at auction are soon bought up and sold on for £100+.
