After all this time they could have corrected all the mistakes, both in content and spelling. Too much to ask for.

I agree that it is still riddled with errors, but then of course not necessarily drawn up by an enthusiast. Just a jobbing staff officer, civil servant, or both. It seems a pity too that very few 'new' illustrations have been provided and they appear instead to have filched the pictures from the 1969 edition of Dress Regulations.

Most of the 'new' regulations have been provided by the Corps and Regiments themselves, and then cobbled together to form each Part. I have not been through the current RAC one yet, but a previous version kept refereeing to the Hawk and collar dogs, which I suppose is fine for in house use but should not be used out in the world.
