21st Army Tank Brigade signs

Prompted by Mike's post on the so called "16th armoured brigade" sign, I would like to show here a pair of facing 21st Army Tank Brigades "diabolos" plus a single one stitched on a piece of khaki drill material.

I think that the practice of stitching the sign to a square of KD material was to ease the transfer of the signs with the change of seasons and the shift from BD to KD. The illustrations shows the realities of uniform "regulations" in Italy - and why is the Bde Comd still wearing his NIH titles? Mike
