A personalised cover issued by Maltapost philatelic bureau to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Award of the George Cross to Malta, 15 April 1942 - 15 April 2017. The vignette is rather striking, I would say.

I'm not a stamp collector but you have reminded me that 25yrs have past since I encouraged my late father to apply for the 50th anniversary commemorative medal which the Maltese government issued to servicemen who had been stationed there.
