I doubt if you have to try too hard.

Well, I do have to say, 'It is nice to see you back TigerLily!,......you did bring a little bit of 'colour' to the forum....if you see what I mean. I am quite jealous that you get to spend time with the 'speed machines'......and I do have to say that your photos are absolutely great !

Aah thanks James, yes I am very lucky. I get to do and see some amazing things. But I do miss the badgey stuff. Hoping to draw breath soon and get back to it at least between the high octane bits.

Yo, Tiger, remember we once discussed collecting badges on a theme such as those featuring St George or eagles, lions, tigers etc?
Well, I've kind of extended the theme beyond badges to slightly larger things......
The work bench-bar is coming along now but I'm still waiting to get the new wall lights rewired though.

Wotcha trouble, the budgie is looking good you dont need the head lamps though. I can look after those for you.

I have a tiger themed album going on, need to add a bit more to it. Its neglected.

And I did buy a QVR badge cos of the St George and dragon. And its nice and blackened.

I miss my badges. Too many cars not enough playing with badges. Must put that right.

You stick to your Ferraris, leave me my headlamps and let me save for the rest.of the car.
I'm sure there are plenty of "Would you like to view my etchings / photograph my Ferrari?" Types out there (extend the vowels of "Ferrari" as Jeremey Clarkson does "Jaaaaaaag" but in Leslie Phillips voice).
I would invite you to see my new baaadge roooom but I like to keep the No Mans Land of The Great North Road and a few coils of razor wire between you and my militaria.

More of a Porsche girl myself, can't beat German engineering but a Ferrari is quite nice.Starting to fall for Lambos a bit recently which is odd as I've slways thought them a bit fur coat no knickers but stick slicks on them and they can hug a wet track and do the business.

I'm hurt that you think your militaria would not be safe in my hands and garage.and living room and dungeon.

I haven't got any of those jam jars but I do have a Toyota Yaris Verso and I can get a pair of backless string gloves and go as fast as any of them can legally on British roads.
Well hellooooo.

Nice. I'm tempted to come up and see your etchings. It was was the string gloves what did it.

There is a rumour that string gloves are merely a device to prevent hairy palms from losing their grip on the steering wheel but they do accessorize nicely with my string vest.
I only have a few etchings - one of the Banja Luka parliament building given to me by interpretors and a few small ones of scenic views of the Krajina.
Well dobar dan........
It's the Yaris Verso that lures isn't it?
At least it won't go so fast you only get a shot of the tail lights.

I like those shots though, nose on and going away shots, I like the butts of cars and aircraft. I always take loads of car butts.

I admit it, the Porsche thing is a facade, the Yaris Verso is doing it for me. That and the stringy outfit.

Well as fascinating as the etchings sound it wasn't quite what I imagined. (Wondering if its the first time a woman has said that to Leigh)

Nah, its been said before, usually as disappointment and self loathing begins to kick in.
Anyway, let's steer the conversation away from my shortcomings - so how many Leicestershire Regiment tiger badges have you got now?
