Default Help dating a civilian(military hat) photo?

Hi Gents,

Another long-shot this one but I was hoping some members might be able to help me out.

I have a civilian shooting club photo that is clearly early 20th century. A couple of the chaps (veterans?) appear to be wearing military style caps, so if this is your area of expertise could you have a butchers and see if you can pin a possible date down?

I'm leaning towards pre WWI, say around 1910 but that's just a guess as it may be post WWI.

Cheers,

Roy

They look like civilian 'barge caps' to me. The badge could be a society pin.

Thanks for that Phil,

You could be correct. Many of these chaps are wearing what looks like club badges, just to small to get any details, so taking a shot at the caps.

Cheerio,

Roy
