Motto LB&BCoLtd (17/21 & QRL) Post 1980.
Hi All
My findings so far .... there are two faces and six back images. Also showing the LB&BCoLtd/TKS dies. First produced post 1973 when the company started to manufacture. The London Badge & Button Company was formed on 10 December 1973. The company was started by Mr Keith Riddle, who had worked for J.R.Gaunt & Sons Ltd. LB&BC was an entirely new company, not bought off the shelf. This information has come from Keith Riddle himself. When Keith Riddle retired, the company was bought by some of the LB&BC managers. They sold the company to Poston Products Ltd., a firm that was incorporated on 3 December 1940. The latter company was in financial difficulties, but wished to continue trading. After the purchase, Poston Products and LB&BC exchanged identities, on 28 January 2000. Toy Kenning & Spence (TKS) then supplied this Motto ..... when I phoned up the QRL stores they quoted TKS as the supplier but the Mottoes I was sent were MMd LB&BCoLtd. I also have photos of the TKS dies that appeared in the Daily Telegraph.

Here are a couple i collected this week.... a silver plate with slider along with an AA that might have the other face (F2).... I will confirm once its arrived.

Back image 1a
Here are some other Ranks with Face 1 (F1) and a starting back image.... along with an Officers S/P with Face 2 (F2).
* Note that there is a variant slider with a square end. ** The difference between back image 1a & 1b is subtle.

Probably only found in the AA version.... but there might be white metals with this back image.
