Default Help with QDG cloth

Picked these up today whilst out within a bundle of other cloth items that are non related and hoped that someone could help with when and what these were worn on.
Thanks
Paul

Hello Paul
Not seen the like of these before, but they look genuine enough. I'd suggest they might be shoulder titles, cut to shape and worn on the epaulettes? and they could have been short lived, produced for a specific theatre; Aden in the 1960's perhaps but I'm guessing.
Howard Smith would be your man for this I'd say.
Interesting items though, thanks for posting them.
Rob

Hello David

I can confirm you're quite right about that, they are still currently worn by Officers and NCO's(Sgt's and above)on pullovers though Officers I understand tend to have them on a slide with their rank stars. They are currently available from QDG-PRI.

The quality is much better that Paul's examples though, and they are pre-cut to shape.
I wonder if Pauls were just for O/R's BD's?

Rob
