Default Lancers

Sorry to say that firstly this is not a Cap Badge sadly. (Even if it was its referred to as the Motto by the Regimental members)

secondly its a 1970s made up Arm motto for the collectors market.

Many a good collector has fallen foul of these 1970 long bone Mottos including me in my early days. We had one come up on our Regimental site attached to a chargers hoof as an inkwell the gentleman tying to sell it wanted £2000. He wouldent have it that it was fake and we showed him what the Arm motto should look like.

sorry to bare bad news .

Best Mac

There has been a lot of discussion about the marketing of this collection. It is the spin that imparts authenticity to all the offerings. Many many other lots from the collection are also repro's or fantasy badges.
