With wreath worn by Spotters, Class I without by Spotters Class II. The gold wire version is for No1 Dress, the khaki for battledress
Approved for LAA Regiments RA by the War Office Dress Committee on 2nd February 1955, announced as Change C6869 in List of Changes on 30th November 1955. 54 Bty will probably know how long they lasted. Jon

The badges are still in the current JSP, however I have never seen one being worn. They were also originally produced in brass and anodised aluminium.
