WW1 28th Division RGA -Attributed Badges
A little group of items that were worn and used by 1275 Gunner D P Bradbury RGA. His 1915 Star, button cleaner with his number impressed, cap badge with number impressed into the slider, his signaller proficiency badge and epaulette with 28th Division red strip. 28th Div fought on the Salonika front.

Nice set of items. Someone recently posted a WW2 gun badge numbered but interesting to see the practice in WW1. It must have been pretty rare?
Dudley Parrott Bradbury was born london 1891 and died 1971. Before the Great War he did 5 years in the Territorials- Ancestry has a record covering this period 1909-1913 BradburyDP service1.JPG His Medal Index Card shows he went to Balkans 25/4/1915. A second card under no 300261 with the Medal Roll shows him with 4th Highland Mountain Brigade RGA. You will find some family trees on Ancestry including his name. Charlie
