Brandse Vrystaat Schutter's simply wore a contraction, often, although, certainly not always, bi lingual, of their initials on their hats and on occasion, on their epaulettes whilst actually in GWSA.

Thanks Frank, after further investigation, I see Tylden has Brands Horse listed and then mentioned was also called Brands Skutters, not Berede. I have found Findlay has Botha's Berede Skutters listed. I am happy that this is it. Thank you everyone. Regards Andrew
