Default Two unusual grenade badges

Hi, can anyone shed any light on the two grenade badges illustrated? Both are around 40mm approx. A universal pattern arty collar badge is shown for contrast.
Thanks

Believe the first could be Royal Marine Artillery, as I believe both their cap & collar badges were of the same pattern.

There's a photo of a RMA lad on E.bay mistakenly identified as Northumbrland Fusiliers, who is wearing both the cap and collar badges.

Default Photo of reverse herewith

Hi, the RMA grenade badge has quite different flames. The pointed tops on both unknoiwn badges are unlike any others I have seen. Note that one of the badges has a replaced lug but both appear to be of British origin.

They appear to me to be collar badges. Collar badges used by some of the fusilier regiments, particularly those that came from the HEIC to then become associated with Ireland, are especially poorly recorded. Plain grenades were often used before more detailed designs were adopted incorporating discrete regimental devices. I also agree with Graham that the larger badge might be a variation used by the RMA, as their badges changed over the years and are again not that well recorded.
