Dagger patch
I'm wondering if anyone here recognizes this patch. I searched extensively and have not seen anything quite like it. It came from the estate of a military family (including a Colonel during WWII) in Canada but some that I have asked suggested I post it here.
It measures 6cm long and 2.5cm wide. It appears to be made from a nice felt. Thanks |

It has an Arabic feel to it with those curls on the guard.

The cross guard could represent the letter S or letters S S.

I'm cautious about identifying letters until I get me Gregory's fixed.
