I find it odd that a dealer in NY State has one (or many more.... ) for sale,I would expect a canadian dealer with some connections to be have at least one for sale.......

I think the vendor is a member here, but not that active. He is Canadian and may have a US mailbox for business purposes.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, received her RCAF astronaut flying badge (astronaut wings) on November 10, 2017.

She first wore her wings during Remembrance Day ceremonies on November 11, 2017 on her RCAF uniform. Though she did not serve in the Canadian Armed Forces(CAF) she is allowed to wear a CAF uniform as she is the Commander-in-Chief of the Canada.

Her spaceflights aboard OV-103 Discovery during STS-96 which launched May 27, 1999 and her 2nd spaceflight aboard OV-105 Endeavour during STS-129 which launched on July 15, 2009 qualified her to wear the RCAF Astronaut Flying Badge.

NASA allows all members of the astronaut corps to wear civilian astronaut wings on their NASA uniforms, allowing Lieutenant-Colonel Joshua Kutryk and Colonel Jeremy Hansen the option of wearing either their military pilot wings, or civilian astronaut wings until they complete their first spaceflight.

The flight suit version of the Canadian Astronaut wing is available from Williams and Williams, Inc. 1145 East Main Street, Lakeland, FL 33801-5185 Toll Free 1-800-695-1227 Email - Sales@nametags4u.com
Williams and Williams are the official manufacturer of the flight suit patches worn by all NASA and CSA Astronauts. They also sell the CF Pilot wing patch (as worn by Chris Hadfield on his early missions), referred to as "Canadian Mission Specialist" and the NASA "Mission Specialist" and "Payload Specialist" wings, also worn by Canadian Astronauts. They are very good to deal with and very helpful.
