Fremantle Boy's Senior Grammar School - about 1909
West Australians may be interested in this photo of a group of boys from the Fremantle Boy's Senior Grammar School. They look as if they may have won some sort of shooting prize. I can't quite make out what the word on the sign says after "Shooting".
My guess is the photo is from about 1909 since my great uncle is featured (middle row, far left) looking all of 12 or 13 years. He was born 1896. They certainly have enough teapots and bowls to equip a kitchen! |

A splendid photo indeed.
I love these old images. The rifles appear to be Martini cadet rifles, so could possible be earlier. Thanks for sharing. Cheerio, Roy
