Default Algonquin Regiment Flash

I have two Algonquin Regiment flashes. One has ALGONQUIN REGIMENT/CANADA in a two lines while the other says simply ALGONQUIN REGIMENT in one line.
Am I right in guessing that the one line flash is wartime issue while the ALGONQUIN REGIMENT/CANADA two line flash is postwar?

Sort of. The single line title ALGONQUIN REGT (some have periods some don't) were the wartime up until circa 1949 pattern. The type with CANADA are post 1949 through unification.
