My name is Barry and I have a number of badges and medals which have come into my possession over a period of years. i have identified most but have, what I presume is a cap badge, which has me baffled. I wonder if any of the forum experts can help me to identify it.

I think I have seen something similar on postage stamps possibly for Switzerland or Austria commemorating their postal service in the dim past.

Dare I suggest a continental postman's badge.

My guess would be Belgian or French army "chasseurs", or continental hunt related.
