Memory Lane . . !
Does anyone know if Lews Surplus Stores of Hove still exists or if anyone else remembers them, I bought badges from them in the early sixties, mainly Corps and Guards cap badges, although they did have a few of the more obscure badges for sale.
I may have asked this question before, but this forum seems to have lots of new members. Rob

Hi Rob,
Growing up in neighbouring Brighton in the 1980s it's not a name I recall. There was a surplus store in Boundary Road Hove which I believe is now long gone if this helps. KR, Pete.

I used to visit one near the station in the early mid 80's but I think that closed about 20 years ago or more.

Hi Magpie,
Boundry Rd is near Portslade station in Hove and there was also a branch of the same shop near Brighton Station, is it one of these that you refer to or another near to Hove station itself? Kind Regards, Pete.
