General List question
Hi All, I picked up a pair of Canadian General list collars this week that seemed almost modern in condition and construction and it got me wondering...when was the last usage of the original style (crown on leaf)? Thanks.

Interesting badge. Someone has plated that collar, which would suggest use on a dress uniform.

I also have some similar "General Service" cap and collar badges from the set of Legends of the Fall in my collection, however, they are noticeable by the fact they are extremely cheap metal or perhaps even plastic castings, and if I remember correctly, may be push-pin backings rather than lug and cotter-pin fasteners. They were, however, hollow-backs and plated and of a similar design, i.e. maple-leaf, crown and CANADA scroll.

Thanks for your help gentlemen. I tested them yesterday, appears to be gold plated. Would fit with them being a dress set.
So, when was the last usage of that style? |

I'm looking for a set of that same style collar badge. Some uniforms/photographs I have indicate that those collars were worn by the Cadet Services of Canada on service and patrol dress. I'd be interested to see other photographs.
