I have this small inch diameter RB badge is it for the FSC?

Yes Mark for FSC as far as I'm aware, I have a few myself.

I agree. mainly worn around 1937-41 I suspect.

Cool Rifle Brigade

I don't think the Rifle Brigade ever wore collar badges.

I thought I had one of these in my infantry album. I bought another as part of a number a while ago but no one wanted it so it remained in my spares box. I checked them today and they are actually 2 different badges. One is the 1937 era FSC with the full battlehonours and is unpierced. The other is an Edwardian one with only 4 battlehonours and is slightly larger with a pierced crown.
