Hi Peter
I don't think you are far wrong with the Essex badge (see links to KC and QC Essex Constabulary collar badges): http://www.pmcc-club.co.uk/museum/di...bum=194&pos=23 http://www.pmcc-club.co.uk/museum/di...bum=194&pos=15 Regarding the "ICC" shoulder title - "Indian Catering Corps" would be my guess (but it is only that). And if the "B/crown/T" is in WM or chrome I'd suggest a police link as well. Best Graham

As there is a British Telecom cap badge, could these be the shoulder titles?

Would they not have been the Post Office or Royal Mail pre 1950's? I thought BT was much later?
The N&D looks nice, possibly ..... S..... (?) School Cadet Corps? Andy |

Just Googled it! BT was not formed until 1980!

Peter,
the 1AMB is a badge that has been copied to death and back! The copies tend to be quite thin and lack detail to the crown, have oversized rivets and poor detail to the Car wheel spokes and firing ports! The wreath and berries are often poor too! The font to the base scroll is often the give away, with the letters very uneven in size and alignment! The lugs on your badge don't look too promising? Andy |

ICC I think is Indian Corps of Clerks (which oddly enough was largely white British NCOs and Warrant Officers)
I took like the Derby C C Cap badge ....is it for sale? PL |

Andy,
You may well be right, this is part of a very large collection I have just acquired and it would be nice ( if not surprising ) if they were all right. A couple of better photos of the 1st AMB badge attached. Thanks to everyone else who has responded, the B/crown/T badge is brass. The ICC badge may well be Indian but if Indian Army Catering Corps I would have expected IACC. P.B.
