Default 19 Alberta Dragoons

I came across this 19 Alberta Dragoons cap badge, at first I thought it was a reproduction made overseas. But after talking to a fellow collector of 19 AD I have found out this sandcast type cap badge was made by Penny's of Thunder Bay for the cadet corps which is still on strength.
It is a solid brass cap badge with an ugly looking slider, the previous cadet cap badges were tin metal with a brass plating, if the cap badge was polished the brass plating would wear off.

Thanks for posting. Without the stamp on the slider I would have concluded it was a repro. An odd font in the lettering and the details are not great.
