Unidentified kfor cloth badge
Can anyone out there please give me a positive identification of the badge shown. I do not recognise it as being a British army item so what is it?

There are many KFOR patches showing up on the market that appear to be strictly fantasy pieces. There are a couple of vendors that are pumping out patches on ebay that I can't find any documented use by any armed forces.
Please do let us know if that patch was used by the British contingent. |

These are not official issue and I certainly never saw any such item ever being worn in KFOR. I would agree that they are commercial items.

It's a natural assumption for Brits to link the colours blue & white to police, it always seemed strange to me that in BiH SFOR wore a blue & white shield & IPTF a very similar badge in black & yellow.

Bonjour,
I confirm Evjebro's post. I have seen such patches in the Prisitna "Fim City" PX alley. They are available with the different flags of the countries involved in the mission. I'm not sure at 100% but a lot of these novelty patches came from Croatia. Cheers FP |

The Canadian example of the SFOR badge, same type as the same badge at the top of the thread.
