Here is said cap badge, both variants, and shoulder title. Interesting that the shoulder title also has the Gaunt mark as well as the plaque applied to one of the cap badge variants.

Default Aberystwyth OTC/UTC

Kevin.

Nice large (2nd version of the S/T).

Here is our smaller version (circa 1910-1913, know who wore it hence date) and version of the OTC/UTC, again slight variation on the OTC with plaque.

Left the button in the frame.

We have just been trying to ID this unit in the Great War Forum, under the badges section, where I post as FROGSMILE. The post is titled South Wales Borderers. It would be good if you could post these there.

RE my last post, it would be great if you could post these images in the thread in the Great War Forum. We had real problems with the ID and at first I thought it was the central device cut from a SWB HPC.

That's great, thank you. If not I can copy and paste with your permission?

Another good postcard to add to this thread, all three being named to the reverse. Published by 'HH Davis & Son, Photographers, Aberystwyth'.
